Everyone likes to be kept in the loop to a certain degree but not everyone wants to pick up the latest issue of Vogue or watch the catwalk shows on FOXTEL; hours on end to find the latest trends on point.
Not to mention trying to encrypt the catwalk trends into everyday styles which can be a world full of confusion for anyone. Where can i get something like this? Would it suit my body shape or my hue of skin tone?
Some of us wish to follow trends that can be worn casually as well as dressed up without standing out like a loony!
After all, we can honestly say not every “catwalk look” straight off the runway could be worn to dinner with the boyfriend or drinks with girls.
Sooo thats where i am here to help. Extracting fashion trends from all around the world and from all well known brands of Australia’s top labels to inspire you when you next go for a stand out ahead of the rest look without the complications.
Lets start with HAIR
One of my favourite looks to hit the catwalk is the Slicked back – wet look trend.
Pictured is Rosie Huntington pulling off her natural beauty at the Balmain runway show.
Showing here that the fresh dewy make up look is also a huge hit for 2015 summer collection.
Lets face it the BOHO 60s trends are here to stay and i love it! So effortless and chic.
So achievable for everyone! Almost like a braid undone this look can be achieved just by letting your hair dry naturally after showering.
If you don’t have a natural wave in your hair you can simply do 3 loose braids and set them to dry naturally and release.
I can’t say i love any look quite as much as the oh so 90s chic bob with its simplistic wet look roots and a slightly waved texture mids to ends.
I’d say here is another 60s style hitting the runway with the middle parting and slick pony tale and doe like eyes.
Super chic also and relatively easy to achieve. Id say this look would be matched best with minimalistic, block coloured clothing. *See my earlier blog on Minimalistic trends
There is nothing not to love about the messy bun. Simple and can be worn to suit the boho look or the glam 60s look. Team with Twiggy style gathered lashes and a cream nude shadow.
Lets move on to make up trends for 2015
Im going to firstly start with something dramatic “The winged liner and minimal lip”
Whilst minimal make up is huge for 2015 i will add that going out trends are fixed with strong lines.
Edge biker look mixed with oh so glamorous 60s vibe.
Inspired by the Spanish influences in Sicily, this utterly romantic theme was presented in the Dolce & Gabbana runway collection.
This is personally my favourite look when heading out with the girls.
Oh so vixen and gothic in its own dramatic sense. Team with a unkept slightly darkened brow for the best combination of drama. *Colours used by Dolce & Gabbana
include a classic cream lipstick in shades ultra and amethyst.
Again with another “Bold lip and brow” so summer! NARZ has a wide collection in corals and matte lipsticks.
Featured here is the NARZ playa Dorado Velvet Lip Liner and NARS Timan faya Satin Lip
Who does not love Miranda Kerr? Anything she runs i simply must have! Here made up by Pat McGrath at Sonia Rykiel with a sultry smoky eye. Got all that so far?
Lets lastly move onto the ever changing world of fashion
